Five-fold could pay nice dividends

There’s a host of major football from the Premier League and the Bundesliga tonight.

With seven games from England’s elite league and five from Germany’s top flight, there’s loads of games to choose from.

The Coral News Team have gone with a brave-looking five-fold with plenty of value.

If all five picks come in, a £5 stake could see a payout of £191.10. All prices are correct at time of publication.

Arsenal to beat West Ham United

Arsenal have a terrific record against West Ham. The Gunners have defeated their fellow Londoners on 13 of the last 14 occasions.

West Ham did just beat Chelsea and looking reasonably solid again under David Moyes so this pick is a gamble at 8/13.

But history has a habit of repeating itself and Arsenal just love playing the Hammers. Despite the 1-1 draw at Southampton, Wenger will be confident of a result.

Mesut Ozil, Alexandre Lacazette, and Alexis Sanchez will be a handful for a West Ham side who have the second-worst defence in the league.

Newcastle v Everton – Draw

Sam Allardyce’s start to life as Everton manager has been impressive. The Blues bagged a precious point at Anfield at the weekend and should still be buzzing.

However, Newcastle were quite impressive against Leicester City, despite going down 3-2 to a late goal. Rafa Benitez’s side were dangerous in attack, scoring two and could have had more.

Big Sam will identify this as a game not to lose. He will likely prioritise draws in away games and three points at Goodison Park.

This has the hallmark of a stalemate all over it. It’s 11/5.

Southampton v Leicester – Draw

Both sides have been impressive of late. Southampton have only lost one of their last four in the Premier League. The Foxes have won three straight.

Claude Puel will be keen on a win against his old club but will be more than happy with a point, too.

Leicester are unbeaten in six on the road in league games and could keep that going here. The Saints are a little goal shy and might not have enough to trouble their opponents.

The draw is generously-priced at 23/10.

Tottenham to beat Brighton and Hove Albion

Brighton are in the middle of a bad run of form and have dropped down the league like a stone.

The Seagulls are winless in five and were beaten at Huddersfield at the weekend. The last place they’ll want to visit is Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley.

Mauricio Pochettino’s team bounced back to winning ways with a big 5-1 win over Stoke. Harry Kane has continued to fire, even through Spurs’ previous poor run.

Spurs are 2/9 to win and that’s a very confident selection.

Schalke 04 to beat Augsburg

The acca is rounded off in Germany where Schalke host Augsburg.

Domenico Tedesco’s Schalke outfit have been very impressive this term. The young Italian has got the Rhine-based outfit playing some sparkling football.

cleardotAugsburg have had their own impressive campaign to date, too. However, Schalke are unbeaten in nine Bundesliga games and lost just once at home all season – to Bayern Munich.

The 5/6 on Schalke to win is our final selection.
