Fivefold from Europe’s biggest club competition
There’s not much better than hearing the Champions League anthem and settling in for an evening of top-class football.
But the Coral News Team have done their best to add some extra excitement with this fivefold acca.
It features some of Europe’s biggest clubs. And a £5 stake could return £118.45 if all five selections come in. All prices and returns correct as of date of publication.
Manchester United to beat Basel
Basel could ve a potential banana skin for Manchester United. But Jose Mourinho will want to get top place secured with a game to spare.
United have won all four of their European games this term. They’re 19/20 to keep that run going at the St. Jakob-Park.
Bayern Munich to beat Anderlecht
Normal order seems to have resumed at Bayern since Jupp Heynckes returned to the club. The Bavarian giants have won eight consecutive matches and are six points clear at the top of the Bundesliga.
They should be far too strong for Anderlecht on Wednesday. The Belgian champions haven’t won a point or scored a goal in this season’s Champions League. Bayern are huge 2/7 favourites.
Atletico Madrid to beat Roma
Atletico’s failure to beat Qarabag in either of their meetings means they need a win to have any chance of qualifying.
They’ve only lost two Champions Leagues game at home since Diego Simeone’s arrival in 2011. They’re 10/11 to get another big home win.
Juventus to draw with Barcelona
Barcelona need to win to secure first place in Group D. Juventus need to win to fend off Sporting Lisbon and qualify for the knockout stages. With that in mind, the draw looks good value at 23/10.
Barca are on a 17-game unbeaten run in all competitions. But the Old Lady will be looking to respond to their defeat to Sampdoria at the weekend. They could cancel each other out.
Sporting Lisbon to beat Olympiakos
Sporting have caused problems for Barcelona and Juventus this season. They’re odds-on at 1/2 to beat Olympiakos at home.
The Portuguese side need three points to keep their slim hopes of progress alive. It would be a surprise if they didn’t get them.
