Thistlecrack heads betting to win Long Distance showdown

| 30.11.2017

The 2015 race winner, Thistlecrack, heads Coral’s betting for Friday’s Ladbrokes Long Distance Hurdle betting at evens, ahead of last year’s winner, Uknowwhatimeanharry, the 13-8 second favourite, in their opening show on the Newbury contest.

“Although Thistlecrack is reverting back to the smaller obstacles after his King George winning season, we favour Colin Tizzard’s charge to come out on top in what should be a top class clash of the last two winners of the Long Distance Hurdle,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
