Super Sunday: All three Premier League games previewed

There’s plenty of action to enjoy
There’s a packed Premier League schedule on Sunday, with three games taking place throughout the afternoon.
It gets started at St. Mary’s, where Southampton host Everton. Next up is Arsenal’s visit to Burnley. And Huddersfield Town take on league leaders Manchester City to wrap it all up.
Here’s everything you need to know…
Southampton v Everton (1:30pm)
It’s not really got going for Mauricio Pellegrino at Southampton yet. The club had arguably the easiest opening fixtures of any top-flight club, but they’re 14th and only four points above the relegation zone.
However, they’re 17/20 to beat an Everton side in freefall. The Toffees are 18/5 following their disastrous 5-1 home defeat to Atalanta on Thursday. It’s 23/10 for the draw.
Backing Southampton in the Double Chance market at 2/11 could be a good call.
A month after sacking Ronald Koeman, Everton seem no closer to appointing a permanent manager. Caretaker boss David Unsworth has overseen four losses in six games, which is unlikely to help his chances.
Whoever comes in, they’ll need to find a way to get this team scoring. Saints have struggled to hit the back of the net too. They’ve only scored nine league goals this term.
There aren’t likely to be too many goals in this one. Southampton to win and Under 2.5 Goals is 13/5. You can also get 8/11 on Both Teams to Score – No.
Burnley v Arsenal (2:00pm)
Burnley have been superb this season. After 12 games, they’re level with Arsenal and Liverpool on 22 points.
But Burnley have lost their last six games against the North London side and are 24/5 underdogs here. Arsenal are odds-on at 4/7 and it’s 3/1 for a draw.
Sean Dyche’s side have slightly tweaked their style this season to make more use of possession. But they’ll probably revert to the defensive system that served them well last year against Arsenal. In an open game, the Gunners’ superior quality would surely tell.
Arsenal’s front three were sensational in last week’s derby win over Tottenham Hotspur. Alexandre Lacazette delivered his best all-around display yet for his new side. The France international is 7/2 to score First.
He may not get too many chances though. The Clarets have only conceded nine goals in league action this season. Arsenal and Under 2.5 Goals is 16/5.
Huddersfield Town v Manchester City (4:00pm)
Can Huddersfield halt Man City’s 17-game winning streak (including penalties) in all competitions? The odds are against them.
City are huge 2/11 favourites, while the promoted side are all the way out at 16/1. It’s 6/1 for a point apiece.
Huddersfield are 10th, but they’ve only scored in two of their last eight games in all competitions. It could be a long afternoon for them.
Pep Guardiola’s side have racked up an astonishing 40 league goals already. They have so many different threats that it’s very difficult for sides to contain them. They can mark Sergio Aguero or Gabriel Jesus, but then they still have to deal with Kevin De Bruyne, Raheem Sterling and Leroy Sane.
