Los Blancos impressed by North London outfit

There is an inevitability about the futures of Mauricio Pochettino, Harry Kane, and Dele Alli.

And that inevitability is not good news for Tottenham Hotspur fans. As Spurs’ performances impress more and more around the football world, the bigger fish will begin circling.

After their 3-1 drubbing at Wembley in midweek, Real Madrid have reportedly been making enquiries. Not just about Pochettino, but Kane and Alli, too.

Despite huge success in his brief stint, there is growing discontent with Zinedine Zidane’s tenure at Santiago Bernabeu.

Karim Benzema, Gareth Bale, and even Cristiano Ronaldo are all under the Madridista microscope, too.

On a scale of 1-10, the Coral News Team rate the likelihood of the Spurs’ trio ending up in the Spanish capital.

Pochettino – 9/10

Of the three stars at White Hart Lane, Pochettino’s move is most likely. And it’s not just Real’s poor start to the season, either.

There have been major doubts about Zidane’s ability in Madrid, despite his trophy-laden stint.

Madridistas expect a style and panache at the Bernabeu and under Zizou, it’s been lacking at times.

Pochettino is one of the most reputed young coaches in European football, renowned for exciting, attacking football.

A student of Marcelo Bielsa, Poch has transformed Spurs into one of England’s powerhouses.

Having already cut his managerial teeth – and impressed – in La Liga at Espanyol, Florentino Perez won’t mess about when trying to bag the Argentine.

Harry Kane – 5.5/10

Kane’s future at White Hart Lane seems somewhat intertwined with Pochettino’s. Should the manager leave, Kane may not hang around much longer.

The vultures are beginning to circle Spurs after three-and-a-half seasons of superb performances. And Kane has been at the forefront of it all.

However, the Coral News Team are unsure whether the England striker will end up at Real.

Perez will probably through an eye-watering amount in attempting to sign him. But it won’t exactly be about the cash.

Kane seems like a real ‘home bird’. And so is more likely to stay in the country and end up at one of the Manchester giants than move to Spain.

Dele Alli – 7/10

This one is a little less cut-and-dried. Alli certainly seems like a Real Madrid-kind of player.

He’s young, he’s got star marketing quality. And most importantly, he’s rattled in two goals against them in a big game.

English stars aren’t exactly renowned for moving abroad but Alli – going on interviews – seems like a more open, cultured sort of individual.

He’ll be openly courted by all the elite clubs when he does choose to move on. But he is as likely to join a Premier League behemoth as he is to leave for Madrid.
