Three reasons Watford can get something at home to Arsenal

Hornets have impressed so far this season
Watford host Arsenal this Saturday evening, and there’s every chance the Hornets can continue their good form.
The Hertfordshire outfit have only lost once this season, when they simply couldn’t handle Manchester City’s pace and movement.
But aside from that, they’ve been very impressive and deservedly sit eighth ahead of this weekend’s fixtures.
The Gunners are 8/13 favourites, but here are three reasons why Arsene Wenger’s men could be denied at Vicarage Road…
Size matters
It’s long-been documented how Arsenal struggle when it comes to a physical battle.
They already lost at Stoke City this season, and the Potters boast one of the tallest sides in the division.
That’s a trait they share with Watford who are believed to possess the fourth-tallest squad in the Premier League this season.
The likes of Troy Deeney, Abdoulaye Doucoure, Etienne Capoue and Christian Kabasele all bring a mighty dose of physicality to proceedings. Arsenal won’t – and don’t – like that.
Liverpool 2.0
Arsenal’s current squad and style of football shares a number of similarities with Liverpool. Both sides are far more effective offensively than at the back.
So it should concern Wenger that Jurgen Klopp’s side were held to a 3-3 draw at Watford earlier this season.
The Reds are notably poor at defending corners, but even so, Watford deserved a point thanks to a high-pressure approach, and Marco Silva will surely have a similar tactic in mind for the Gunners.
Pace and power
Watford’s front-line is blessed with pace, power and skill.
Andre Gray has hustled Arsenal before, proving a constant thorn – and scoring – for Burnley against Petr Cech last season. The Gunners defence simply couldn’t handle him that day.
In Troy Deeney, Silva will have another option to pressurise Laurent Koscielny and co.
And if that wasn’t enough, Brazilian sensation Richarlison will keep Arsenal’s back-line on their toes with his pace and trickery.
Watford look great value at 4/1, while the draw is 3/1. The wise option though could be Watford/Draw Double Chance at 6/5.
