Sam Allardyce 5-1 favourite to get Leicester job

Sam Allardyce is the 5-1 favourite with leading bookmaker Coral to get the vacant Leicester job after Craig Shakespeare was sacked by the Foxes this afternoon. Michael Appleton and Chris Coleman are both available at 6-1, while Nigel Pearson is 8-1 for a return to the King Power Stadium.

“We make Allardyce the favourite to replace Shakespeare and return to football after a short spell out of the game. Michael Appleton and Chris Coleman are also names at the front end of the early betting for the job,” said Coral’s John Hill.
