Coral’s Prem punts: Easy wins for Arsenal and Man City, but not Liverpool
Watford could be eyeing three points too
Saturday is set to be a busy one in the Premier League, with seven fixtures taking place.
Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur kick-off the action at 12:30pm, with Bournemouth and Chelsea drawing a close to events in the evening fixture.
But here the Coral News Team have had a run through the Prem’s intriguing 3pm fixtures and delivered five punts worth backing.
Arsenal – 1 @ 6/10
Arsenal have been handed a rare Saturday 3pm game. And with Swansea City the visitors, this should be a routine win for Arsene Wenger’s men.
They were excellent against Everton a week ago, and Wenger can again call upon all of Mesut Ozil, Alexis Sanchez and Alexandre Lacazette up front.
That trio should be far too much for Swansea to handle and a comfortable Arsenal victory is on the cards.
Manchester City – 2 @ 7/4
It would be oddly appropriate that if anyone is going to somehow stop Pep Guardiola’s marauding Man City, then it will be Tony Pulis and West Bromwich Albion.
But the Baggies simply can’t contain City in this fixture.
Man City have won on all of their last five league visits to the Hawthorns, scoring three or more on four occasions.
Given that they’ve stepped things up to another level this season, a similar result can be confidently expected.
Watford to beat Stoke City @ Evens
Watford will be annoyed at their missed opportunity against Chelsea last time out, so they will be out to make up for that against Stoke.
The Potters have already lost five times this season, and though it’s gone unnoticed, they’ve conceded more goals than any other side in the Prem.
With Watford’s skill and power up front in the likes of Richarlison, Andre Gray and Troy Deeney, Marco Silva’s men are a great price at Evens with Coral.
West Ham to beat Crystal Palace @ 11/5
West Ham’s incredible comeback to knock Tottenham out of the Carabao Cup could – and should – kick-start their season.
Slaven Bilic’s side have the perfect opportunity to build on that win when they visit Crystal Palace.
The Eagles may have beaten Chelsea, but they slumped again last time out at Newcastle. After such a morale-boosting win in the week, nobody will want to play the Hammers now, and they appeal at 11/5.
Huddersfield Town or Draw Double Chance @ 10/3
The Terriers picked up perhaps their most famous win in a generation by defeating Manchester United last weekend.
It was a deserved victory too, thanks to hard-graft and excellent tactics from David Wagner.
The German takes on old ally Jurgen Klopp this time, and will be keenly aware of Liverpool’s defensive weaknesses.
Laurent Depoitre bagged the winner in that game versus Man United, and at 6ft 3in, is set to prove a major handful for Liverpool’s beleaguered defenders.
