Claude Puel is now odds-on at 1-3 (from 2-1) with leading bookmaker Coral to be the next permanent Leicester manager following gamble on the Frenchman in the last 24 hours. The former Saints boss tops the betting ahead of Manuel Pellegrini who is 9-2, while Chris Coleman can be backed at 6-1.

In the next permanent Everton manager market, Sean Dyche remains the 2-1 favourite, however, Coral has seen money for the current interim boss David Unsworth who is 9-4 to get the role full-time.

“There has been a strong gamble behind Claude Puel becoming the next Leicester manager in the last 24 hours where the Frenchman is now odds-on to replace Craig Shakespeare,” said Coral’s John Hill.

“Sean Dyche remains the favourite to leave Burnley for Everton, however, we have seen strong support for David Unsworth to get the job on a full-time basis,” added Hill.
