Two teams with similar form

Burnley host Newcastle United at Turf Moor in front of the Sky Sports cameras on Monday Night Football.

Sean Dyche’s side have been relatively impressive this season to date. The Clarets currently sit eighth in the Premier League table.

They welcome a Newcastle side also flying high. Rafa Benitez’s squad are one point and one place above their opponents in seventh.

It’s the best start to a campaign for a newly-promoted side since West Ham United in 2012-13.

For both these teams, results are in slight contrast with how this fixture will play out. Burnley have been better away from Turf Moor, while the Magpies’ best results have been at St. James’ Park.

Three of the last five fixtures at Burnley have ended in stalemates. And that’s how the Coral News Team sees this game going.

Coral’s bet of the day is the draw at 21/10.

Tight affair looking likely

None of the Clarets’ home league fixtures have seen more than two goals scored. In fact, in four games, just four goals have been scored.

In addition, three of Newcastle’s four league away games have gone Under 2.5 goals.

However, in the aforementioned three previous draws between this pair – both teams have found the net.

With such similar styles of play, this one could be tight, but both sides are capable in front of goal.

Both Teams To Score – Yes is nicely priced at 10/11.

Wood can cause damage

Chris Wood has been a good signing for Burnley so far. The former Leeds United striker has managed four goals in all competitions for the Clarets this term.

The powerful New Zealander will start against Newcastle and has previous form against the Magpies.

He scored a late leveller against them for Leeds last season. With three First Goalscorer strikes to his name this season, the Kiwi is value to bag a goal.

Wood is 4/1 to score first and 6/4 Anytime.
