Capri 20-1 for Arc glory after popular Leger success

| 16.09.2017

Capri remains 20-1 with Coral for next month’s Qatar Prix De L’Arc De Triomphe, following his victory in this afternoon’s St Leger, a result that was popular with plenty of punters who backed the colt into clear favouritism for the season’s final Classic.

“The battle for Leger favouritism had raged all week, and when it mattered most, the money came for Capri, a gamble that proved spot on, with the each-way support for the previously easy to back Stradivarius also rewarded to ensure punters end the Classic year on a high,” said Coral’s David Stevens.

Capri’s Aidan O’Brien-trained stablemate, Seahenge, earned a 33-1 quote from Coral for next year’s QIPCO 2,000 Guineas after his win in the Champagne Stakes.
