Alice attracts 60% of bets with Royal baby punters
Published:Leading bookmaker Coral can reveal that just over 60% of the bets they have taken since Kate and William announced they were expecting a third baby have been for Alice which is the 7-1 favourite. Victoria is the second most popular selection at 10-1, while Alexandra and Arthur are next best at 12-1.
In the gender betting, Coral make a girl the marginal favourite at 10-11, while a boy is even money.
“Alice has been by far the most popular selection in the name betting for the third baby and judging by the early money in the gender market, punters are expecting it to be a girl once again,” said Coral’s John Hill.
