Several sides will look rather different

The international break is over, and that means the Premier League roars back into life this weekend.

It also means fans get their first chance to see new Deadline Day signings.

The final hours of the transfer window were frantic with players coming and going.

So ahead of the weekend action, the Coral News Team have picked out five Deadline Day arrivals who they can’t wait to see.

Renato Sanches

Paul Clement played a blinder on Deadline Day to use his Continental connections and bring Renato Sanches to the Premier League.

A remarkable talent, Sanches could be Swansea’s ticket into the top-half, and should prove an exciting addition right from the off.

A home game against Newcastle on Sunday offers the Bayern Munich man a perfect chance to showcase his ability.

Davide Zappacosta

He’s got a great name, but not too much is known on British shores about Davide Zappacosta.

The Italian probably wasn’t on Chelsea’s initial summer shortlist, but the 25-year-old has been a mainstay in the top-half of Serie A for Torino and Atalanta.

Antonio Conte knows what’s required from Italian defenders, so Zappacosta should be in the ideal place to thrive.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

Is he worth £40m? Is he the next Steven Gerrard? The curious case of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will be revealed soon.

Either Arsenal have sold an average player with nine months of his contract remaining for good money.

Or Jurgen Klopp is about to turn the Ox into the Premier League’s most feared midfielder.

Liverpool take on Manchester City this Saturday, so if Oxlade-Chamberlain means business, he’s got the perfect opportunity to show us all.

Serge Aurier

If Mauricio Pochettino can control Serge Aurier’s temperament, then Tottenham Hotspur may have landed one of the deals of the summer.

Linked with both Manchester United and Arsenal in the past, the Ivory Coast international is a top-line full-back.

Having sold Kyle Walker for £50m, Spurs have effectively signed a younger replacement for half the price – and many think Aurier is the better right-back.

Wilfried Bony

With 26 goals in 50 games during his first stint with the Swans, Wilfried Bony proved he was comfortably Premier League quality.

So it’s been a shame to see his career stall at Manchester City and Stoke.

Now back in Wales though, Bony’s revival will be a good thing for both Swansea and the Prem.
