2.30 Haydock – Laraaib

I am really looking forward to riding this horse again. He is three from three this year. I had a difficult decision to make as we had some nice runners at Newmarket but this is one of my best runners of the day. He is just three years old so he will be taking on the older horses. He has been assigned 8-9 so I will be having a good sweat in the bath this evening. He is by Pivotal and has won on Good to Soft and Good to Firm so that is always a sign of a good horse.

3.00 Haydock – Mustarrid

I chose this horse over Rusumaat in the Silver Bowl at Haydock earlier in the season so I got it wrong on that occasion. The ground was quick enough for him that day. He has come out since then and finished second to Century Dream at Doncaster. He was a little disappointing last time out in a big handicap at Ascot. I am hoping that a return to Haydock on slower ground will help him.

4.05 Haydock – Mutawakked

I haven’t ridden this horse before but looking at him, his best form has come on Good To Firm so I am not sure what to make of that. Brian’s horses are running really well. He had a good winner at Glorious Goodwood so hopefully this horse can get back to winning ways.

4.35 Haydock – Letmestopyouthere

This is one of my spare rides for the day so I don’t know much about the horse. He ran well two runs ago at Windsor but I think he may have to pull his socks up a bit to be in contention here.

5.05 Haydock – Pushkin Museum

I am not sure if this horse is going to run yet. He has been very consistent on the all-weather for my friend Dr Marwan Koukash. If he does run, hopefully he can transfer his form on the all-weather to turf at Haydock.
