Bet of the Day: France to claim narrow win over Netherlands

Nations meet in World Cup Qualifier
World Cup Qualifying resumes today as France host the Netherlands at the Stade de France.
The pair sit second and third in Group A with France three points ahead of their rivals. However, the French boast a far superior array of attacking quality.
Didier Deschamps side can call upon Kylian Mbappe, Alexandre Lacazette and Antoine Greizmann going forward. Meanwhile, the Netherlands have been forced to hand a recall to 34-year-old striker Robin van Persie.
It all adds up to suggest that France should enjoy a straightforward home win. That means Coral’s Bet of the Day is France and Under 3.5 Goals at 6/5.
Hosts to keep it tight
The Netherlands lack bite up front. France, on the other hand, have a competent if inexperienced backline.
It’s difficult to see the visitors breaching the hosts’ defence this evening. Especially given that France kept a clean sheet against a more threatening Netherlands side back in 2016.
Coral go 29/10 for Les Bleus keep a clean sheet again this time around.
Pogba to be amongst the goals
Paul Pogba has started the season in excellent form. The 24-year-old is a serious threat going forward and has already scored twice this term.
In a similarly unchained role for France the ex-Juventus man has excelled. He has two goals in qualifying including a strike against the Dutch. Up against a lacklustre Oranje midfield he should have the freedom to advance forward with ease.
Pogba is 7/2 to score anytime this evening, while he’s an enhanced 10/1 to score first.
