Robins aren’t easily beaten at home

After Bristol City and Aston Villa both picked up midweek Carabao Cup victories, the pair meet at Ashton Gate for some Friday night football.

The two sides have each claimed five points from their opening four Championship games, but that sits far better with the Robins than it does the Villans.

Villa boss Steve Bruce is already under pressure, but it’s hard to look past a woeful away record of four wins in 25 Championship games for the Birmingham-based side.

Couple that with City’s excellent run of results on home soil (just two defeats in 12 league games), and Coral’s Bet of the Day is Bristol City Draw No Bet at 7/10.

Bobby Reid to continue blistering start

City’s star man so far has been Bobby Reid, who has begun the campaign in superb fashion.

The attacking midfielder is already on four Championship goals for the season – meaning it’s already his best ever return.

Reid also netted in the midweek win over Watford, and on current form will be a popular pick at 9/2 to score first and 17/10 anytime.

Villa have found their scoring boots

Defeat for Villa will put Bruce under more pressure, and with that in mind, the visitors must go out and put in a performance.

Handily, eight goals in their last two games has helped change the mood at Villa Park, and with that in mind both teams to score is odds-on with Coral at 4/5, while over 2.5 goals is slightly bigger at Evens.

Big match previews, betting tips and transfer news – Coral have got it all.
