We round-up the weekend’s results

The British and Irish Lions drew 15-15 with New Zealand on Saturday morning to ensure a drawn series, tied at 1-1. There was late drama as The All Blacks were denied a penalty that would’ve surely won them the tie.

Elsewhere and Ulysses claimed a gripping Coral-Eclipse at Sandown in a photo finish with Barney Roy, a nose the official winning distance. The historic race has given us some fantastic memories over the years, but the 2017 version will take some beating. Below you’ll find our favourite snaps…..

Joe Root made a winning start to his time as England captain, beating a poor South Africa at Lord’s. The hosts strolled to a 211-run win in the first Test, a result that gives the victors confidence going forward.

USA drew their opening Gold Cup match with Panama 1-1. In what was billed as their toughest test of the group stage, a Dwyer opener was cancelled out by Camargo in the second-half.
