Aiming for four wins in-a-row

We completed a hat-trick of winning NAPs this week, with Finale scoring at Sandown on Thursday. Followers of our horse racing previews are in high spirits, and with profits in our pockets, it’s now up to us to deliver when it matters – on what promises to be an action-packed weekend.

We’re in a fighting mood too, with confidence onside. Click here to back your Friday winners, or why not try a big price accumulator? We take you through our bet of the day below, or if you’re punting on the go, skip to the foot of this page where you’ll find our race-by-race selections.

Battersea bets to score for Roger Varian are among Coral experts' Mallard Stakes tips alongside Wall Of Fire odds for the contest on day 3 of the St Leger Festival at Doncaster.

Frankel colt seeking a hat-trick

We shine the spotlight on Ascot, where the curtain goes up on a seven-race card at 1.40pm. A decent puzzle to start the day, we fancy Jousi to set us up nicely with a win for Hugo Palmer, and waste no time getting stuck into our NAP, which goes in the third, due to post at 2.45pm. Will we land a fourth winner on the bounce? UAE King will help us do just that.

Roger Varian and Silvestre De Sousa team up on this talented three-year-old colt, who will be extremely popular on the day, not least because he’s a product of the great Frankel. Seemed to take a race or two to settle into things, but he arrives at course chasing down a hat-trick, following wins at Haydock and Sandown. Second at Lingfield in a maiden back in May, the penny finally dropped and he went on to string together back-to-back wins.

Silvestre de Sousa

If UAE King stays, he wins

Finally scored the win everyone was waiting on at Haydock last month over Festival Of Ages, going off a convincing favourite, and looking like it. He proved the market right next time out too, stepping up in trip to bank the prize money over 1m 6f. Again a solid fav, he beat Machine Learner by ¾ of a length, but it’s obvious he’s just getting started.

UAE King moves up to 1m 7f here, and if he stays, he wins. This will be a tougher test, and there’s a couple here that’ll drag the NAP out of his comfort zone, but he has only been raised 6lb by the handicapper, and will take that in his stride. He’s difficult to ignore, so we’re not going to.
