Europa League five-fold

With another round of Champions League qualifiers in the books, we now move onto Thursday’s Europa League, with the early exchanges of the tournament now at the qualifying second round. A long list of matches at the second-leg phase, we have plenty to go on when looking to piece together a winning accumulator.

There’s enough to give Coral punters an interest before the weekend and our football team at Stratford HQ aim to boost your betting balance with our punchy five-fold. We put our trust in sides who showed their class last week, and are more than capable of pulling clear. Click here to place your bets, or read on as we explain our thinking. Every £10 down returns £123.60.

Boleslav beat Shamrock

Shamrock look to have missed their chance here, losing at home in the first leg. Mlada Boleslav claimed a confidence boosting 3-2 win, and they really couldn’t have asked much more than that. Granted, the game is still in the balance, but the hosts claimed an away win and racked up three away goals. That will stand them in good stead here and if they can do that on the road, they must be trusted in front of their own fans. 4/11 is a great way to start us off.

Brondby beat VPS

Brondby are backed to win away from home. There’s a gulf in class between these sides, as was shown in the first leg when the Danish side swaggered to a 2-0 win. They will look to shut up shop and see this one through, but there’s no doubt Brondby will get their share of chances on the counter, and will be more than happy to score and put this one out of reach. They don’t need to win, of course, but they will, and we’re on at 4/11.

AEK Larnaca beat Cork

Cork warmed up for this test with a convincing win over Bray Wanderers at the weekend, and they are in decent nick domestically, but lost at home in the first leg, and that has put a massive hole in their chances of going through. Never expected to make any kind of dent in this competition, their hopes all but evaporated when Truyols slammed in a second-half winner at Turner’s Cross. A deserved win, and another is on the cards at 4/6.

Midtjylland beat Ferencvarosi

Midtjylland finished fifth in the Danish Superliga last season, and we like their chances of getting through to the next stage of the Europa League. They had plenty to shout about a week ago, winning 4-2 away from home. Scoring four goals on the road at this level is no mean feat, and we’re confident they’ll go and net a couple more to delight their own support. If their mind is on the job this will be a walk in the park, making Coral’s 8/15 a must have.

Astra Giurgiu beat Zira

We finish off with another home win which, on paper, looks tricky, but Astra won 3-1 last time and are more than capable of putting this to bed with a low-scoring win. 1-0 would do them nicely, and we’d be happy enough with it too. The 8/5 currently being offered by Coral is a cracking price and that looks the perfect way to tie our acca up. Let’s hope we’re collecting a nice winner at full-time.
