Snaps that capture the weekend results

An enthralling meeting of the Auld Enemy at Hampden was the major talking point for sports fans at the weekend, Scotland and England battling out a pulsating 2-2 finish. With England in complete control, Leigh Griffiths scored two goals in quick succession to turn the game on its head.

The Three Lions needed a stoppage-time equaliser from star striker Harry Kane to rescue a point, and spare their blushes in Glasgow. Both teams ended with a point, but football fans were the real winners at the full-time whistle.

Usain Bolt, Ryan Burnett and Bateel also captured the headlines over the course of the weekend. We flick through our favourite sporting images…..
