Les Bleus won three of last five vs England

It’s the final game of note for domestic football fans this season as England take on France in Paris. ITV screen all the action live, and to celebrate the occasion Coral are offering over 160 markets, to help spice up your viewing.

Both sides dropped points at the weekend, England drawing with Scotland and the locals going down to Sweden, adding an extra bit of bite to the night. There will be nothing friendly about this one, as the warring neighbours face-off for the first time since 2015, when England won 2-0 at Wembley.

Southgate drops Hart

Three Lions manager Gareth Southgate ruffled a few feathers on Monday when informing the press there would be no space for goalkeeper Joe Hart on Tuesday. Assuring fans it was always his plan to use Tom Heaton and Jack Butland, it’s perfectly understandable, but does raise a few question marks over the future of the number one shirt.

Perhaps it’s an early indication of how the boss plans to approach this tie, using all the players currently at his disposal, giving everyone a run-out, without putting too much pressure on any one man before the summer break kicks in. Will the minds of players be on the job, or on their upcoming break? Coral traders certainly believe it’ll be a wasted trip for England, pricing them as 16/5 outsiders to claim the win.

Trends point towards goals

Dele Alli and Wayne Rooney were both on target when these rivals last butted heads, and another win to nil is surely a bet for the dreamers out there, with our football guys happy to offer 11/2 to anyone brave enough to have a go.

Goals seem a lot more likely, certainly if following the trends, and with both teams finding the net in four of the last six matches involving these sides, our 19/20 about the same again on Tuesday is sure to prove popular. Harry Kane grabbed a famous last-gasp equaliser against Scotland at the weekend, and the Spurs hitman to net in an England win has been boosted to 13/2 from 9/2, giving lovers of value an interest.

France have some making up to do

The head-to-head record leaves France trailing England 16-8, with five draws, but Les Bleus certainly appear to be moving in the right direction on that front, winning three of the last five. They have, in fact, lost just one of their last seven vs England, a run stretching back to 1999. That’s worth noting.

It has certainly been picked up on by our odds compilers, and they wasted no time throwing the weight of their support behind the home dressing room, with Didier Deschamps’ side currently 20/23 favourites. That’s little surprise, as they have won seven of their last nine friendlies played on French soil.

Griezmann to prove his worth

Looking to make your stake money go a bit further on the night? We have priced up a special bet that certainly deserves a second look. France to win and both teams to score was originally 10/3, but we’re boosting that to 4/1, giving punters something decent to cheer home.

Antoine Griezmann has been making headlines in the English press so far this summer, a host of red tops linking the scorer with a move to either Manchester United or Chelsea. The man himself seemed to put a line through that by saying now is not the time to leave current employers Atletico Madrid, but he can show the Premier League just what it’s missing by scoring the first goal, an outcome that will bag you 4/1.
