Glastonbury 2-1 to see no rain this weekend

Leading bookmaker Coral is offering 2-1 that music revellers see no rain at all at Glastonbury this year as forecasters are predicting one of the driest years in the history of the music festival. With downpours set for some parts of the country though, the firm is 6-4 that there is rain on all three days and 4-1 for the festival to be suspended at any point due to the weather.

Coral is also offering a number on specials on this year’s festival. They go 10-1 for Liam Gallagher and Noel Gallagher to sing on stage together in a surprise reunion, Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift are 3-1 to perform a duet and Dave Grohl from the Foo Fighters is 5-1 to fall off the stage.

“It seems unthinkable that we could have a Glastonbury without any rain over the three days, however, the odds suggest that is a realistic prospect this year,” said Coral’s John Hill.

“We have still been taking bets on rain to fall on all three days though, while we are offering odds on the festival being suspended at any point due to the weather,” added Hill.

“We’ve seen a flurry of bets for the Gallagher brothers to reunite on the stage at Glastonbury which might just be hope, rather than expectation from Oasis fans, while Ed Sheeran has been backed to perform a duet with Taylor Swift when he headlines the Pyramid Stage on the Sunday,” concluded Hill.
