Wednesday’s bet of the day

Arsenal and Leicester to shoot it out
Arsenal and Leicester fought out an uninspiring 0-0 draw at the King Power Stadium in August. Things were very different back then, The Foxes had dreams of defending their crown, while Arsenal fans considered anything other than a top-four finish beneath them.
Fast-forward to April and we have The Gunners scratching their heads down in seventh, well out of the race for the Champions League places, while last season’s Premier League champions go 15th, two wins better than the relegation zone.

Both teams to score
A flick through the head-to-head stats for this fixture shows that seven of the last eight matches has seen both teams score, the spare being that aforementioned encounter. Last season’s meetings give a great example of what we can expect here. Despite going on to win the title, Leicester were beaten home and away by Wenger’s side, 5-2 at the King Power and 2-1 in London.
The hosts have scored an average of two goals per game during that eight-match spell, their opponents have netted, on average, one a game. Those looking to follow the stats and push their luck a bit further can try an interest play on 2-1 Arsenal in the correct score market, at 7/1.
That scoring carries into the recent league results for these rivals. Both teams have scored in seven of Arsenal’s last 10 in the top-flight. They also edged past Man City 2-1 in the FA Cup on Saturday, Aguero opening the day for The Citizens before Monreal and Sanchez turned the game on its head.

Leicester fancy an upset
Leicester were knocked out of the Champions League on their last start, a 1-1 second-leg draw not enough to see them progress to the semi-finals. Since Craig Shakespeare took control of The Foxes, they have won five, drawn one and lost one. Starting with a 3-1 upset vs Liverpool, they also dealt out the same punishment to Hull next time, before ending 3-2 with West Ham.
The new gaffer’s league form shows that both teams have scored in five of his seven games, last seen at this level scrapping out a 2-2 finish with Crystal Palace. Leicester will look to keep things tight in the opening exchanges, but the players will be well-briefed on the vulnerability of the home defence. Sam Allardyce showed everyone the way to beat Arsenal recently, and the upset here is a 17/4 play with us.
