Premier Bond now clear favourite for Scottish Grand National

SPORTSBOOK ODDS

The Nicky Henderson-trained Premier Bond heads the sponsor’s betting for Saturday’s Coral Scottish Grand National at 9-1, following the latest entry stage for the £210,000 contest.  Last year’s winner Vicente is 10-1 second favourite for champion trainer Paul Nicholls, ahead of his stablemate Arpege D’Alene, Missed Approach and Southfield Royale, all 12-1.

“Although Paul Nicholls has conceded defeat in his title battle with Nicky Henderson, a repeat of last year’s victory in Scotland’s richest race could keep his hopes alive, although Henderson himself looks to have an excellent chance, and a win for current favourite Premier Bond would wrap up the championship in his favour,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
