It’s 10-1 the field for wide open Grand National

Definitly Red is the 10-1 (from 11-1) favourite with Coral for Saturday’s Randox Health Grand National, ahead of Vieux Lion Rouge at 11-1, following the final declarations for the famous steeplechase. Coral are also betting on which horse will be sent off favourite, and make Definitly Red 6-4, with Vieux Lion Rouge 4-1.
“Even by National standards this year’s race has a wide open look to it, with a host of runners in contention to be start favourite, but given the unique nature of the betting on Saturday, we reckon Definitly Red will hold onto favouritism,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
“The 8-y-o has the form in the book, and equally importantly, a name that will appeal to many of the once a year punters who make the National the biggest betting event of the year, with its reminder of the mighty Red Rum and its link to a large group of football fans,” added Stevens.
