Our best five-fold from Sunday’s fixtures

Everton vs Leicester headlines the Premier League matches on Sunday, but there’s also games in the Scottish top-flight and the best divisions across Europe. Read on as we walk you through our high-five, where every £5 down pays £228.50. Prices and returns are correct at the time of asking.

Man Utd beat Sunderland

The first of two matches from the English Premier League as David Moyes leads his Sunderland side out against Man Utd. The Red Devils won 3-1 when these two met at Old Trafford earlier in the season, and have been priced up like losing isn’t an option again.

Sunderland travel to The Theatre of Dreams rock-bottom of the division and now 10 points off safety. I’m sure they have already accepted their fate and are now just running down the clock. Having seen teams around them pull free, such as Leicester, West Ham and Palace, the chance has past Sunderland by. Man Utd can’t afford another draw, and can jump back in front of Arsenal with three points. The 1/3 gets us going.

Leicester beat Everton

We look set for an enthralling match up here. Two sides who are oozing confidence at the minute. Everton put that poor display against Liverpool behind them to finish 1-1 with Man Utd last time. They left with a point, but could’ve had three, with a first-half Jagielka goal equalled by a stoppage time penalty from Ibrahimovic.

Performances aside, The Toffees have taken just one point from six, while their opponents arrive on the back of a five-match winning run. They have beaten Liverpool, Hull, West Ham, Stoke and Sunderland, four of those five wins coming by a two-goal margin. The Foxes have their self-belief back, and the goals of Vardy too. They look a great price at 15/4.

Aberdeen beat Rangers

We have a massive tussle in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday as Aberdeen host Rangers at Pittodrie. The fight is on for second-place, but it is quickly developing into nothing more than a few harsh words, with the locals a dozen points ahead of the Glaswegians. Aberdeen win and it’s done and dusted, Rangers win and it’s probably still done and dusted anyway.

Rangers are going through a bit of a transitional period and they’ll stagger over the line and cement Europa League football, which finishing third gives them. I then expect a summer clear out. New manager Pedro Caixinha is unbeaten since taking charge, but two of his three have ended in draws. A home win is the smart play at 10/11.

Udinese beat Genoa

Taking in the Italian Serie A and a bet on Udinese over Genoa makes perfect sense, with the hosts unbeaten in four, two wins and a pair of draws, while Genoa have lost each of their last three league games. The visitors have managed just one win in 10, making the 4/5 a great addition to our multiple.

Valencia beat Granada

We round things off in La Liga where Valencia are picked at an eye-catching 11/10. Los Che may be down in the bottom-half of the division, but they are an improving lot and go in on the back of two wins on the bounce, beating Deportivo and Celta Vigo, scoring three goals in each. Granada are second-bottom of the league, with their last five reading four losses and a draw.
