A flick through the weekend’s pictures

There’s absolutely no doubt about which of the weekend’s results caused the biggest wave, as Tony Bellew stopped David Haye at the 02 Arena on Saturday evening to pull-off one of the biggest upsets in British boxing history.

Few gave Tony Bellew a chance vs David Haye on Saturday, but Bomber upset the odds to stop his opponent in the 11th round. Both men went at it, with Haye finishing with an injured leg and Bellew a broken hand.

Harry Kane scored two goals to gift his side a hard-fought win over an ambitious Everton side 3-2 at White Hart Lane. That brace followed a hat-trick last weekend.

Britain’s Andy Murray beat Spain’s Fernando Verdasco in straight sets to win his first Dubai Championships. It was the world number one’s first tournament win of 2017.

American Justin Thomas hit a hole-in-one on-route to taking the lead in round three of the WGC Mexico. The ball took just one bounce before dropping into the hole on the 13th.
