Zlatan Ibrahimovic will surely have plenty of involvement if this Manchester United price boost to beat West Ham is to come off.

Middlesbrough vs Man Utd

We get started at the Riverside as managerless Boro welcome in-form Manchester United to town for a 12.00pm kick-off, live on BT Sport. The locals parted company (sacked) with manager Aitor Karanka in midweek, after a working relationship spanning three and-a-half years. With The Smoggies stuck fast in the relegation zone, it came as no major surprise. What will puzzle supporters however is the timing. Surely giving a new manager the January transfer window to get a few new faces in would’ve been a better approach. They’ve not won any games so far this year anyway.

United go into the weekend in sixth, just a point off a woeful Arsenal who were beaten 3-1 by West Brom on Saturday. United had a tough task against Rostov in the Europa League on Thursday, but will be targeting a top-four finish, and have been given the perfect chance to leapfrog The Gunners. United beat Middlesbrough 2-1 on New Year’s Eve at Old Trafford, and another play on United win and both score is 13/4 at Coral.

Southampton's Manolo Gabbiadini scores his side's second goal of the game during the Premier League match at the Stadium of Light, Sunderland.

Tottenham vs Southampton

2.15pm on Sky Sports, and this looked set for a shoot-out between Harry Kane and Manolo Gabbiadini, but the Englishman broke down with an ankle injury recently, and faces a stretch on the sidelines. Even the best strikers in the world aren’t immune to injury. Without that, punters still have a meeting of two bang in form sides, with Spurs winning each of their last two, and The Saints matching that.

One thing that looks guaranteed here is goals. In the visitor’s last five games they have scored 13, while Spurs have netted eight in the same period. The Londoners whacked Southampton 4-1 down at St Mary’s earlier in the season, but it’s worth noting both teams have scored in each of the last two meetings between these sides, and six of the last 10. Both to put at least one on the board is 4/5 at Coral, which can be used in accas. Our traders are also offering a special bet – both score and either to win at 7/4. That’s worth a second look.

Man City to beat Hull by three or more

Man City vs Liverpool

Game of the day, and by some distance, goes on Sky from 4.30pm to cap what promises to be an enthralling afternoon. The Reds travel to the Etihad on the back of a pair of wins, their best form of 2017 so far, cutting down Arsenal and Burnley, scoring five goals in the process. They also boast a 1-0 win over The Citizens earlier in the season, and could pass them in the table with another three points.

City have come onto a bit of form of their own, and were involved in two titanic tussles with Monaco in the Champions League, before sinking 6-6 on the away goal rule. Manager Pep Guardiola told the press recently that his boys are getting better, and that looks to be the truth, as they set-up for the Liverpool match unbeaten in their last six league matches, a run including four wins. City are a supremely confident side at home, whereas Liverpool have lost their last two away days, 3-1 to Leicester and 2-0 to Hull. That pushes us towards the locals at 19/20, or for those with more bottle, -1 on the handicap at 12/5.
