France host Spain in glamour friendly

Giants of international football face-off
A round of international friendlies go ahead on Tuesday, but the schedule is sparked to life by goings on in Paris where France welcome Spain to town for the standout fixture of the night, live in front of the ITV4 cameras.
This promises to be one for the footballing purists out there. Two major teams with nothing to lose – fans are in for an entertaining evening. One sure-fire way to make things more interesting is with a winning bet, and you can have your say right here at Coral. Our traders have laid out a host of betting markets, including match winner, first goal scorer and total goals – and we talk you through the best of them.

France to send out a strong side
Both sides prepare for this friendly on the back of a win, with France beating Luxembourg away from home on Saturday. A double from Giroud stole the show that night, while Griezmann got himself on the scoresheet from the spot. A surprisingly strong side was sent out by Les Bleus manager Didier Deschamps – considering the level of opposition – and the same will be true on Tuesday.
Rather predictably, the last six matches involving France and Spain have been low-scoring affairs, with each of those half-dozen producing two goals or less. Punters who want to follow that trend and have a go on under 2.5 goals will find 4/7 available at Coral. Most of those meetings have come in major competitions however, with tensions running high, but that won’t be the case this time out.
Both managers will be looking to use this to sharpen their tools and try out a few tweaks to their systems. Without any expectations, France and Spain will be free to have a go and put on a show for supporters, and those who expect a goal-fest can get 10/3 with us on the tie producing over three goals.
Those willing to take more of a risk for a greater reward, our football guys have priced up a special worth looking at. France to win the match and both teams to score is an eye-catching 5/1.

Free-scoring Spain to attack
Spain were also on the winning side in World Cup action at the weekend, thumping Israel 4-1 on Friday night in Group G. That result only serves to strengthen the Spanish push for a place in Russia. They will journey to Paris with confidence onside, with Silva, Perez, Costa and Isco all on the scoresheet. Refaelov hit back for Israel, but the game was long gone by that point.
The visitors did draw their last friendly match, ending 2-2 with England back in November. The Three Lions scored through Lallana and Vardy that day, but The Fury hit back late, with Aspas netting on 89-minutes and Isco equalising deep into stoppage-time. Both teams to find the net again here is a 19/20 poke, while another draw, which would do neither side any harm, has been chalked up on the board at 21/10.
We’re bucking the recent trend of low-scoring matches for this one and taking over 3.5 in the total goals market at 10/3. Both sides will set-up to win the match, and we saw again at the weekend that both have goals right throughout the team. Spain got four against Israel, but conceded one, France got three against Luxembourg, but conceded one. Fans will be hoping we are right and the goals rain in.
