Sweden beat Belarus

Starting with the World Cup qualifiers, and we have Group A contenders Sweden to do the business over Belarus. They have been dropped into a killer pool, boasting France and Holland, but are plugging away and enter level on points with the Dutch. Lost 2-1 to Les Bleus last time, but this looks the perfect way to bounce back at 1/2.

Holland beat Bulgaria

Sticking with Group A and Holland are expected to beat Bulgaria, but Coral are giving 1/2 and that looks value. The Dutch are in a battle for top-spot with France, going into game five three points off the leaders. They lost 1-0 to the French, but can take plenty from that effort, and had little trouble returning to beat Luxembourg 3-1 last time. Bulgaria have lost two of their last three.

Belgium beat Greece

This has the potential to be an interesting little match-up as we have a meeting of first vs second in Group H. The Belgians have been impressive so far and show a 100 per cent record from four starts. They have lost just one goal during that time, rattling in 21 of their own. Greece stuttered to a 1-1 with Bosnia last time and 2/7 about the locals makes sense.

Fleetwood beat Bury

Moving into League One and Fleetwood should be one of the first teams on your domestic betting slips this year. They are pushing hard for a place in the Championship, and have lost just one of their last 10. It’s easy to go against Bury knowing they’ve managed one win in their last four. The Trawlermen are trusted at 7/5.

Sheffield United beat Oldham

The Blades can continue their march towards the league title when taking on relegation-threatened Oldham. Sheff Utd are unbeaten in nine at this level, and have won each of their last three, scoring nine goals in the process. A confident pick at 8/15.

Portsmouth beat Newport

Pompey have hauled themselves into the automatic promotion slots and now have a four-point cushion over the chasing pack. There’s no chance of a title win, but they’ll be eager to stay away from the play-offs. Against second-bottom Newport at Fratton Park, they do a job at 2/5.

Morton beat Dunfermline

Dipping into the Scottish Championship and it really doesn’t pay to oppose Morton in Greenock. They have one of the best home records in European football, unbeaten in a year, and can enhance that against a Pars who have little to play for. C’mon The Ton at 6/4.

Raith beat QOS

Probably one of the more competitive matches of the list, and neither side are bankers by anyone’s standards. Rovers have won two of their last three though, while QOS have scored just one goal in their last four games, losing three of those. Raith to nick it at home is 2/1.
