Roberto Mancini is the 2-1 favourite with leading bookmaker Coral to be the next permanent Leicester manager following Claudio Ranieri’s sacking this evening. Alan Pardew is second best in the betting at 6-1, while Wales manager Chris Coleman is available at 7-1.

Leicester are 13/8 with Coral to be relegated this season and odds-on at 4/9 to remain in the Premier League at the end of the campaign.

“The betting suggests Leicester will go for another Italian job in the form of Roberto Mancini who is the favourite to succeed Claudio Ranieri at the Premier League champions,” said Coral’s John Hill.

“Although Leicester fans will be concerned with their recent form, the Foxes are still odds-on in the betting to stay up this season,” added Hill.
