Colin Tizzard just 8/1 to train first three home in Gold Cup

| 11.02.2017
SPORTSBOOK ODDS

Colin Tizzard has been cut to 8/1 from 10/1 by Coral to train the first three home in the Timico Cheltenham Gold Cup following Native River’s impressive success in the Denman Chase today.

Tizzard currently has the 6/4 favourite for the race with Thistlecrack, the 9/2 second favourite in Native River and the 7/1 fourth favourite in Cue Card. Tizzard also has 50/1 chance Alary who runs tomorrow at Exeter and 100/1 shot Theatre Guide.

Coral quote 150/1 that Colin Tizzard equals Michael Dickinson’s historic achievement of training the first five home in the Gold Cup.

“Colin Tizzard has a stranglehold over next month’s Gold Cup with Thistlecrack, Nativer River and Cue Card, and if Cue Card can win the Betfair Chase next Saturday, the odds on Tizzard training the first three home will be slashed ,” said Simon Clare, Coral Spokesman.

Colin Tizzard is odds-on to win the Gold Cup at 2/5 with Coral, while it is 16/1 that none of his horses finish in the first three places.
