The winter window is finally open and we are beginning to see signs that it could be a busy month for Premier League clubs, wheeling and dealing right up until the deadline.

Antonio Conte appears to have wasted no time in earmarking his leading target, as he is reportedly eyeing offensive reinforcements this winter with Fernando Llorente to Chelsea linked on today’s back pages.

The former Italy manager sees Llorente as reliable cover for the PL’s leading scorer Diego Costa – according to reports.

Conte worked with Llorente during the pair’s time in Juventus, yielding three Serie A titles, and could be in line to reunite at Stamford Bridge.

The Pamplona born player has found the net on six occasions for the Swans this term and looks comfortable with the Premier League’s high paced action.

Llorente joined the Welsh club from Sevilla for around £5m in August last year and has previously praised Conte: “My experience with Conte at Juve was fantastic. He is the best coach I have ever had in my career.”

Reports also suggest that to sweeten the deal, Michy Batshuayi could be offered to Paul Clement’s outfit on loan.

A £33m summer signing from Marseille, Batshuayi is yet to start a league fixture this term.

Like Conte, Ronald Koeman is also looking to strengthen up-top. The Everton boss is looking to add Standard Liege forward Ishak Belfodil this January window as the Algerian continues to impress in Belgium with nine goals and four assists this term – reports emerging out of the country suggest.

After arriving on a free last summer, former Inter Man Belfodil has found success playing as a secondary striker and could be paired with Romelu Lukaku is the Merseyside outfit test the waters with a bid.

Capped by Algeria 12 times, his contract expires in the summer of 2018.
