Saara Aalto now odds-on to win X Factor

Saara Aalto has become the new odds-on favourite at 4-5 with leading bookmaker Coral to win X Factor following tonight’s live show. Matt Terry who has topped the betting since the start of the series is now out to 2-1, 5 After Midnight can be backed at 6-1 and Emily Middlesmas is the outsider of the four contestants at 14-1.

In the elimination betting, Emily Middlesmas is odds-on at 2-5 to be eliminated tomorrow evening, while 5 After Midnight are 4-1 to depart before the final.

“When Saara Aalto was chosen as a wild card selection for the live shows this year, she was a 100-1 shot to go all the way, however, it now looks like 2016 could spring another upset in the betting as the Finnish singer is the new odds-on favourite to win the series following her latest performance,” said Coral’s John Hill.

“The betting suggests Emily will miss out on a place in the final as she is the favourite to be eliminated following the sing off tomorrow evening where she is likely to be up against 5 After Midnight,” added Hill.
