Saara Aalto backed to win X Factor final

| 07.12.2016

Saara Aalto has been cut into 8-13 (from 5-6) to win the X Factor by bookmaker Coral who has seen a lot of interest in the Finnish singer ahead of the final this weekend. The wild card selection for this year’s series was a big as 100-1 before the live shows and only became the new favourite for the show after her performance last Saturday.

Matt Terry started the series as the bookies’ favourite to win X Factor, however, he is now out to 5-2, while 5 After Midnight are the outsiders of the three finalists at 5-1.

“If Saara Aalto does go on to win X Factor this weekend, it will be another huge betting upset in 2016 as the Finnish singer was a 100-1 shot to go all the way before the opening live show of the series,” said Coral’s John Hill.

“Of all the bets we have taken this week on X Factor, 80% of them have been for Saara who will go into the final as the red hot odds-on favourite to be crowned the winner,” added Hill.
