The Chilean is believed to be holding out for wages worth £200k per week at Arsenal. In what seems to be a recurring theme these days, there is a reported offer on the table from China, but in the prime of his career Sanchez would likely favour staying in Europe.

Along with Sanchez, the Italian outfit are reportedly seeking to tempt PSG pair Marco Verratti and Marquinhos to Milan.

Reports emerging from Italy claim Sanchez is wanted to join captain Mauro Icardi in a fearsome offensive duo, while Verratti is targeted as a midfield partner for Joao Mario and Marquinhos an ideal foil for compatriot Miranda in defence.

Foxes pounce for Acerbi?

Capped twice for Italy, the commanding centre back has reportedly caught the eye of Claudio Ranieri as he searches for defensive reinforcements.

The Foxes have asked permission to talk to Acerbi, but may face competition from both Milan clubs, as the player has remained a solid performer throughout his three years at Sassuolo.

Born in Lombardy, he has made over 100 appearances for the Serie A side and helped them finish sixth last season to secure European football.
