Sevilla want Anthony Martial?
Many managers can end up raiding only the bargain bin as they scrabble for value in the January sales, but Sevilla tactician Jorge Sampaoli seems to be aiming for a luxury purchase as the Bathtubs are believed to have enquired about Man Utd’s Martial.
The France forward has fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford, at least in regards to being a starter, and Sevilla are said to have dangled the carrot of a loan move at his agent. Though, the Red Devils will reportedly snub any offer for their star, with attacking options thin on the ground as Jose Mourinho’s men remain in four competitions.
The Spanish club have been impressive this season and could appeal as they are still going strong in the Champions League, with loanees such as Samir Nasri of Manchester City playing a lead role.
Thibaut Courtois transfer to Real Madrid?
Sevilla aren’t the only Spanish giant circling Premier League talent, as Real Madrid have reportedly turned their attention to Chelsea number one Thibaut Courtois as they pursue a top class keeper, with interest in David de Gea long thought to have cooled.
Los Blancos have apparently just seen a transfer ban overturned so could move for the Belgium and Blues stopper as soon as summer. Courtois has kept an impressive 11 clean sheets in 18 Premier League games, so it is no wonder he has caught the eye.
Zinedine Zidane’s team of superstars looks almost complete, though current goalie Keylor Navas has been seen as a weak point and lacking in Galactico appeal. Should PL leaders Chelsea receive an offer they can’t refuse for Courtois, 24, Antonio Conte is said to have Man City’s unwanted post protector Joe Hart in his mind as a contingency keeper signing.
