Ronaldo 9-5 to win fifth Ballon d’Or in 2017

Cristiano Ronaldo is the 9-5 joint-favourite with bookmaker Coral along with Lionel Messi to win his fifth Ballon d’Or award in 2017 after his success yesterday evening. Frenchman Antoine Griezmann is 9-1 to be crowned the winner next year, while Real Madrid’s Gareth Bale is 25-1 to be honoured with the prestigious prize.

In the 2016 FIFA World Coach of the Year market, Leicester’s Claudio Ranieri is odds-on at 2-5 to win the award after he inspired the Foxes to the title in the 2015/16 campaign. Leicester are also odds-on at 2-9 to win the Team of the Year at the 2016 Sports Personality of the Year ceremony.

John is the newest member of the PR team having joined in April 2014. In his previous role he worked as a broadcaster where he could be heard building up to the action in horse racing, greyhounds and a range of sports.
As a PR manager he will be responsible for Coral's news website providing the latest market movers, as well as various other media relations, including Box Nation and RPGTV.
John is a proud Rochdale fan having been born in the town which has produced the likes of Gracie Fields and Lisa Stansfield.
