Italian football acca for December 22-23

Get your last Italian football acca fix of 2016 with the latest matches in Serie A and the Italian Super Cup, before the winter break makes punters wait until January 7th for matchweek 19 of Italy’s top-flight.

Coral writers are focusing on Thursday and Friday fixtures this time, which include Juventus odds. Our recommended acca is is a super sevenfold that could potentially see punters snare a whopping £442.45 from a fiver flutter, or a tempting £88.49 from a pound punt.

So, read on to see why we’ve selected these seven teams to triumph…

Torino to take Genoa to task

Torino are first up in our Italian acca.

Torino are first up in our Italian acca.

Having been on the wrong side of an eight-goal thriller away to Napoli last time out, Torino have at least proven they have their shooting boots on and are usually impressively strong at home, with just one loss at the Olimpico di Torino across all competitions this term so far.

The Bull can stampede back to form in front of home fans then and are odds-on 4/5* favourites to do just that against Genoa, who also arrive on the back of defeat. The Griffin have failed to win away in this fixture in their last four tries and all but one league loss this season has occurred on the road.

Roma can crush Chievo

Roma are odds-on favourites.

Roma are odds-on favourites.

Roma are another Italian team tough to beat on their own patch, with only one defeat in the Eternal City in Serie A this season – and midtable men Chievo Verona are unlikely to change that.

The Giallorossi (3/10*) sit second in Italy’s top-flight for good reason, with numerous goal threats including Edin Dzeko and Mohamed Salah, and have crucially beaten the Flying Donkeys to nil in six of their last seven scuffles as hosts.

Napoli to fluster Fiorentina

Napoli are in scoring form.

Napoli are in scoring form.

Maurizio Sarri’s Napoli have really gone up a gear in recent weeks, scoring 10 in their last two league games, with Dries Mertens responsible for a sensational seven of those.

In such confident form, it’s no wonder the Campania club are 11/10* to put Fiorentina to the sword. Viola enter this clash after two successive league losses and have managed to beat Napoli in just one of their previous 13 meetings in all competitions.

Sampdoria to sink Udinese

Sampdoria are included in Coral's sevenfold.

Sampdoria are included in Coral’s sevenfold.

Sampdoria and Udinese have identical records from their past seven outings in Serie A, with just three victories apiece.

Home comfort does give the Blucerchiati a crucial advantage, however, as they prevailed 2-0 last term at Luigi Ferraris, losing none of their last three against the Little Zebras on their own soil and just one of the previous six with the Udine outfit overall. This makes odds of 11/10* for a Samp success worth a wager.

Palermo in pole position to pip Pescara

Palermo have a chance to pick up points.

Palermo have a chance to pick up points.

This is a vital game for relegation risks Palermo, but luckily they face rock bottom club Pescara. The Sicilian side have an ideal opportunity to pick up three points versus a Dolphins team that managed to record their only win of the campaign all the way back in August.

The Pink-blacks are therefore 11/10* to get the better of their survival rivals after a morale-boosting triumph over Genoa last time out, in which they scored four goals.

Cagliari can overcome Sassuolo

Cagliari are also in action on Thursday.

Cagliari are also in action on Thursday.

Sardinian side Cagliari will want to keep three points and one place ahead of strugglers Sassuolo in Serie A, and are 29/20* to conquer their guests.

The Islanders have lost two league home games from eight, with five victories, so should feel confident of out-gunning the Neroverdi, who have recorded a sole away win all season.

Juventus to defeat AC Milan in Doha

Juventus odds also star in Coral's Italian football acca December 22-23.

Juventus odds also star in Coral’s Italian football acca December 22-23.

Moving away from Serie A action and onto the Italian Super Cup, with Juventus and AC Milan set to face-off in this special festive Friday fixture.

Juve actually lifted both the Scudetto and the Super Cup last season, with the Rossoneri only runners-up in the latter, so the Old Lady will certainly not wish to lose face.

The Turin titans are understandably 4/6* to come out tops against Milan, having won nine of the last 10 tussles between these giants and possessing a domestically dominant team including Gonzalo Higuain and co.
