Leading bookmaker Coral has seen a huge gamble in the last 24 hours on the Friends of Jo Cox, musicians such as Ricky Wilson, Steve Harley and KT Tunstall who have teamed up together to sing a cover of The Rolling Stones’ You Can’t Always Get What You Want, reaching Christmas number one this year in which the firm now go evens (from  8-1) on the back of the support. The X Factor winner is 3-1 to top the charts on Christmas Day this year, while the London Hospices Choir is also available at 3-1 in the market.

“We’ve seen a flurry of bets in the last couple of days on the Friends of Jo Cox going all the way to Christmas Number One later this month where the collaborated group of musicians and politicians are now evens to top the charts on Christmas Day,” said Coral’s John Hill.
