Fantasy football transfer tips December 3-5
The Premier League returns this weekend for another exciting instalment of fixtures, including table-toppers Chelsea against Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City, with some intriguing encounters and individual match-ups.
With this in mind, you might be tempted into some selection alterations so, in light of this, Coral football writers have picked out some Premier League fantasy football transfer tips…
Add Aguero?
A favourite with fantasy league players since his arrival in the Premier League, Sergio Aguero may cost a hefty fantasy price of £13.1m, but he guarantees bags of points when out on the pitch. Second in the point-scoring striker rankings with 75 thus far, the Argentine is a must this week.

Aguero features in our fantasy football transfer tips.
Not only has he scored 10 in 11 league games this term, netting five in his last four outings, but also boasts a superb record against weekend opponents Chelsea. Aguero has found the net on six occasions in only nine league encounters with the Blues. The City striker is therefore 7/2 with Coral to score first on Saturday.
Fantasy players may be reluctant to add the Argentine due to Antonio Conte’s concentrate defence, but if anyone is going to breach the Stamford Bridge side’s barricades it will be Aguero.
Move for Mkhi
After a few months in the wilderness under Jose Mourinho adjusting to life in England, Manchester United summer acquisition Henrikh Mkhitaryan seems to be finding his feet.

After impressing in the EFL Cup, Mkhitaryan will look to make his mark on the Premier League
The Armenian’s statistics last season were incredible, recording 23 goals and 32 assists in all competitions last term. While starting slow, the former Borussia Dortmund midfielder notched two assists against West Ham United in an EFL Cup quarter-final this week, collecting Man of the Match in a 4-1 triumph.
Speaking after the game, Mourinho said: “I am so happy today because he is against Premier League opposition and Premier League players. We are really happy.”
At the fantasy fee of £8.9m, Mkhitarayan could also be the perfect replacement for the injured Philippe Coutinho.
Deadly Defoe to dominate Foxes
The now 34-year-old forward is as deadly as ever this term, scoring seven in a poor David Moyes Sunderland side. With three in his last four outings, Jermain Defoe is in scorching form and a great mid-price addition to consider heading into a clash with Leicester City.

Defoe could continue his fine form against Foxes.
Claudio Ranieri’s Foxes possess the second worst defensive away record and Defoe will take huge confidence from his previous matches with the East Midlands outfit. Defoe has scored in 50 per cent of his league clashes with Leicester and looks set to test the reigning Premier League champions this weekend.
The former Tottenham star is currently the third highest point grabbing striker, available at just £7.6m.
Bargain buys
We could have picked out any attacking player to tip due to Hull City’s atrocious defensive record, but look at Gaston Ramirez (£5.3m) to wrack up the points against his former side.
Ramirez recorded an assist in Middlesbrough’s last outing, so back the Uruguay international to exploit the worst defensive side in the division.

Sigurdsson could haunt his former club this weekend.
Alternatively, free scoring Theo Walcott at just £7.9m looks tempting. The winger has six in 12 league games this campaign and five from 10 West Ham encounters – making 5/1 odds on him scoring first look enticing.
Gylfi Sigurdsson will be on a mission to punish his former employers and build upon his fine form. The Iceland star has two goals and an assist in his last two league matches.
Make sure you make your transfers by 11:30 GMT on Friday, December 3!
