Premier League team of matchweek 13: Llorente late goals and super Sanchez
Premier League team of matchweek 13
The Premier League more than lived up to its billing as one of, if not the, best top-flight division in the world this weekend after a set of exceptional games across November 26-27, including a London derby and nine-goal thriller. So, see who made the cut for Coral’s Premier League team of matchweek 13.

Formation: 4-3-3
Goalkeeper: Fraser Forster (Southampton)

Forster kept a clean sheet.
Not many clean sheets were kept this weekend, with just Liverpool, Stoke City and Saints keeping one, so we’ve opted for Forster to man our posts this week.
Everton didn’t exactly give the goalie much to do, but he remained a calm and composed presence as ever, and deserves credit for Southampton’s staunch rearguard.
Right back: Victor Moses (Chelsea)

Moses is a new man at Chelsea.
Technically Moses was deployed as a right wing back, but the roving flank threat utilised his relatively newfound defensive tendencies to the full against Tottenham.
Doing great work at both ends of the pitch plus popping up with the winner just after the break, a neat finish which cracked off the inside of the post, earned Moses a standing ovation – and we agree the improved wingman deserves plaudits for his revival. So, he can slot into attacking full back position in our XI.
Centre back: Gareth McAuley (West Bromwich Albion)

McAuley has been using his head.
The Baggies did concede one to Hull City but could not have asked for more from sturdy centre half McAuley, who opened the deadlock for Albion.
As the only defender to so far net three times in the PL this term, McAuley gets a slot in our XI for his efforts at both ends of the pitch.
Centre back: Virgil van Dijk (Southampton)

Van Dijk was a wall again.
Van Dijk featured in our team of matchweek 12 too, and just keeps turning in the top performances.
The Dutch defender kept Romelu Lukaku and co in his pocket, as Everton stuttered in attack. Van Dijk’s partner Jose Fonte also deserves credit for Saints’ clean sheet, but it is no wonder that his peer is being linked with bigger clubs.
Left back: James Milner (Liverpool)

Milner grabbed a goal for Liverpool.
In a match where the Reds dominated Sunderland to win 2-0, Liverpool left back Milner was one of the men for the occasion as he helped keep a clean sheet and coolly converted a spot-kick late on to ensure all the points went to Jurgen Klopp’s crew.
Hull’s burgeoning full back talent Josh Tymon also deserves a shout out too, with the young-gun’s impressive outing coming as the Tigers salvaged a point against West Brom.
Central midfield: Jordan Henderson (Liverpool)

Henderson put in a captain’s performance.
Henderson earned rave reviews for his commanding showing against former side Sunderland, getting into the thick of the action and covering almost every blade of grass as a skipper should.
Performances like this will only add to calls for him to be England captain…
Central midfield: Leroy Fer (Swansea City)

Fer got in on the goal action too,
Fer was purring against Crystal Palace, as the Dutch midfield man proved his worth to Swansea with a brilliant brace to help turn what could end up to be a crucial match.
The 26-year-old dispatched twice after the break, bullishly following up on rebounds and loose balls to get his side the goals. The Swans will need more of this to stay up.
Central attacking midfield: Christian Eriksen (Tottenham)

Eriksen made an impact.
He may have been on the losing side but Eriksen gave it his all in what was arguably the Danish schemer’s best performance of the season so far. If he can stay at that level, Spurs have no need to worry.
Oh, and his strike was a stunner too.
Centre forward: Alexis Sanchez (Arsenal)

Sanchez is in superb form and helped crush the Cherries.
One of many in-form forwards to notch a brace this matchweek 13, electric Sanchez continue to pull Arsenal through matches, excelling since his move up top.
The Chile attacking catalyst bookended the Bournemouth battle with early and late goals so make sure the Gunners grabbed the spoils.
Centre forward: Fernando Llorente (Swansea City)

Llorente’s brace meant the Spaniard was a hero for Swansea.
Llorente was lion as a super sub for struggling Swansea, with strikes in the first and third minutes of stoppage time to lift the Welsh club currently in danger of relegation.
Seven of the nine goals in the game with Palace occurred in the second-half, but it was Llorente who bagged the vital winner with a poacher’s finish and also had a hand in one of Fer’s goals too. Is it time for the Swans and Llorente to both turn their season around?
Centre forward: Sergio Aguero (Manchester City)

Aguero was at the double again.
Man City required Aguero’s deadly accuracy to rescue them after going a goal down to fellow Northwest boys Burnley and the Argentina attacker duly responded.
Being in the right place at the right time can count for a lot, especially in a title race, and Aguero fired two opportunistic efforts in with aplomb.
Alvaro Negredo also gets a nod for his deadly double against Leicester City for Middlesbrough, though his goals could only ensure a draw.
