Rumour Reel: Hammers keen on Kone capture, Liverpool hunt Hull wonderkid Tymon
Coral’s rumour reel November 3
With the Premier League season in full flow and managers now getting to grips with their best line-ups and formations, they’ll have one eye on the January transfer market which is quickly approaching.
The winter window is always a great opportunity for top-flight bosses to add beneficial acquisitions to their squads and this season should be no different, with many looking ahead to potential mid-campaign signings.
This includes both West Ham United and Liverpool tacticians Slaven Bilic and Jurgen Klopp, who feature in our latest rumour reel for November 3rd. So, read on to see who exactly they’re are chasing.
West Ham want Kone
With Bilic’s Hammers defence having become error-prone so far this term, the Croatian coach is hoping to add a new centre back to his set-up in January and has outlined Sunderland’s Lamine Kone as a key target.

West Ham want Kone in the January transfer window this season, as Bilic looks to add to his stuttering rearguard.
The Ivory Coast international snubbed the interest of Everton in the summer to remain at the Stadium of Light but, after a dismal start to the season under David Moyes on Wearside, he could be swayed into departing for ventures new in London.
Kone cost Sunderland £5m last season when arriving from Ligue 1 side Lorient and was key to their survival under former boss Sam Allardyce, though he has so far failed to replicate that impressive form this campaign.
Nevertheless, West Ham want Kone and Bilic is reportedly very keen on securing his services for the remainder of the term to sure-up the Irons backline.
Liverpool hunting Hull prospect Tymon
Over to the red half of Merseyside and Liverpool boss Klopp is also seeking a new signing in the form of Hull City’s promising defender Josh Tymon.

Hull’s Tymon has attracted much interest from the Premier League but it’s Liverpool who are leading the chase for his signature.
The Reds have reportedly been tracking the 17-year-old’s progress since he broke into his current club’s first-team at just 16 last season in the FA Cup fourth-round win over Bury, while also featuring against Arsenal.
Tymon has attracted interest from both London sides the Gunners and Tottenham too, with Ronald Koeman’s Toffees also believed to be admirers of his defensive talents.
The England Under-17 international full back is yet to be tied down to a professional contract yet with the Tigers, giving Liverpool the opportunity to pounce, with the Reds having been relying on makeshift defender James Milner in the left of their backline.
