Rumour Reel: Memphis to Everton, while Conte contemplates Verratti and Baggies swoop for Sakho
Coral’s rumour reel
After a torrid spell at Manchester United, it appears Ronald Koeman could be about to end his compatriot’s misery with Memphis Depay to Everton linked on today’s back pages.
Memphis to Everton?
The Merseyside outfit are reportedly contemplating a January loan move for out of favour winger Memphis. Given the number seven shirt on his arrival at Old Trafford, he has failed to live up to the promise he showed in the Netherlands with PSV Eindhoven.

Memphis to Everton has been linked linked on today’s back pages.
Memphis finds himself frozen out the starting XI, recording just 20 minutes of Premier League football this term. Koeman has previously admitted to attempting to sign the skillful wide player during the manager’s time at Southampton, and January could provide him with a chance to land Memphis.
It is thought Koeman is confident he can unlock the Netherlands winger’s maximum potential in a team full of attacking intent. Doubts surround Memphis’ attitude to training, but Koeman has shown in the past he can develop a player and keep him focused, as seen with Romelu Lukaku, who seemed certain to leave Goodison Park before the Dutchman took charge.
Conte contemplates Verratti?
Chelsea have improved dramatically since their 3-0 drubbing at the hands of Arsenal and now look title contenders. However, Blues boss Antonio Conte doesn’t appear to be happy with his squad just yet, as he looks to add PSG’s Marco Verratti – according to reports.

Verratti’s arrival could spell the end of Fabregas.
The Italy player’s agent has reportedly warned the Parisian outfit his client could leave this coming winter window, saying: “Contracts are made and unmade in three minutes” in reference to Verratti signing a bumper new contract this year.
His arrival would likely bring Cesc Fabregas’ spell at Stamford Bridge to an end, after completing just 87 minutes of league football this campaign.
Baggies swoop for Sakho?
Jurgen Klopp has banished Mamadou Sakho from the Liverpool first-team since the end of last season and is yet to play a single minute this term.

Sakho has been frozen out since his preseason tour dismissal.
Reports suggest the 26-year-old Frenchman will be allowed to leave if a loan deal can be agreed. West Bromwich Albion head coach Tony Pulis tried to bring in Sakho in summer, but is willing to return for the centre back in January – according to reports.
However, Pulis’ priority is thought to be reinforcing his threadbare attacking unit. Sakho was sent home from Liverpool’s pre-season tour this summer, after breaking club protocol three times and remains firmly out in the cold.
