The Europa League continues into the fourth round of group stage fixtures, with Premier League outfits Manchester United and Southampton hoping to boost their chances of progression in their respective next outings.
Irish representatives Dundalk are also aiming to continue their European ventures as they face a tough trip to Russia, among many other tasty tussles across the continent.

Van Persie to score in Fenerbahce loss
Former Man Utd frontman Robin van Persie enjoyed personal scoring success on his reverse fixture return to Old Trafford, though he and Fenerbahce ultimately endured a thumping 4-1 defeat.

French side Nice are flying high in Ligue 1 thanks mainly to the rejuvenated heroics of former Liverpool misfit Mario Balotelli, and he will be gunning to keep his impressive form up against Red Bull Salzburg.
Lucien Favre’s men are sitting atop the French top-flight ahead of champions PSG and Monaco and, with Balotelli having struck seven times in as many games this season, he’s worth backing at 7/2 to open proceedings here in the Europa League.
Villarreal to topple Osmanlispor to nil
Finishing off our Europa League tips for Thursday is the clash between Villarreal and Osmanlispor, with the former Spanish set up entering their meeting on home soil at 6/5 to triumph without conceding.
The Yellow Submarine have lost only one of their previous 11 games on all fronts and are on a four-game winning streak at the Estadio El Madrigal.
