Douvan now odds-on for Tingle Creek success

Douvan is the 4-7 favourite with Coral for Saturday’s Tingle Creek Chase, after no further entries were added to the eight-strong field today. The Gary Moore-trained pair of Ar Mad and Sire De Grugy are next in the betting at 4-1 and 9-2 respectively, ahead of the favourite’s stablemate, Un De Sceaux, at 5-1.
“Douvan had been a 5-1 chance for the Tingle Creek in our ante-post betting, but having suspended betting when the race was reopened on Monday, we avoided the gamble that took place. However, the money seen elsewhere would strongly suggest Willie Mullins will be sending his star to Sandown this weekend, where he would be a red-hot favourite to maintain his winning run,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
