Yucatan heads Racing Post Trophy betting

SPORTSBOOK ODDS

Yucatan is the 11-10 favourite with Coral for Saturday’s Racing Post Trophy, ahead of Rivet at 11-2, following the final declarations for the Doncaster Group One.  Sir Dancealot and Salouen are both 8-1, but the initial ante-post favourite Capri, who drifted from evens to 5-2 this week, was not among the ten runners.

“The market spoke strongly in favour of Yucatan this week, who was a 5-1 shot when we opened betting on Monday, and despite some initial support for Capri, as the week went on he became friendless in the betting, and so it’s not a huge surprise he didn’t feature among the final declarations,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
