Welshman Cleverly became a world champion for the second time in his career as he overcame Juergen Braehmer in Germany to clinch the WBA light-heavyweight title, with the home fighter having failed to carry on into the seventh round through injury. ..

Cleverly had previously held the WBO strap but lost it to dominant unified champion Sergey Kovalev back in 2013, with his performance in Germany showing he is now back to his best…
