Minding new favourite for QE11

| 13.10.2016
SPORTSBOOK ODDS

Minding is the 2-1 (from 3-1) favourite with Coral for the QIPCO Queen Elizabeth II Stakes, ahead of Ribchester at 9-4 (from 2-1), following the final declarations for the Champions Day card today.

In the QIPCO Champion Stakes, Almanzor heads the betting at 11-8, with Found next at 11-4, while Quiet Reflection is the 5-2 favourite for the British Champions Sprint after Limato was ruled out of the Ascot Group One by connections.

The day’s fourth Group One is the QIPCO British Champions Fillies’ & Mares’ Stakes, for which the Aidan O’Brien-trained Seventh Heaven heads Coral’s betting at 5-2, while her stablemate Order Of St George is 4-5 favourite for the QIPCO Long Distance Cup.

“With Minding spearheading Aidan O’Brien’s QE II challange, the filly has replaced Ribchester at the head of the betting, while Limato’s absence means Quiet Reflection is once again favourite for the Sprint,” said Coral’s David Stevens.

“With just one or two exceptions, most of the season’s stars will be lining up at Ascot, and with such quality on show, and six highly competitive contests for punters to get stuck into, turnover on Saturday’s card should compare favourably with previous British Champions Days,” added Stevens.
