Leicester tips: It’s time for Lightscameraction and a Spencer double
Lightscameraction odds take centre stage under Spencer
Lightscameraction is running well of late, so looks the answer to punters seeking Leicester tips for October 11 in the 5f handicap (15:45).
Gay Kelleway’s gelding is a three-time winner on the all-weather. The last of those successes came in a Listed contest at Lingfield back in February. Lightscameraction beat the classy Take Cover by a neck off an official rating of 106.

Lightscameraction odds are among our Leicester tips for October 11 and trainer Gay Kelleway.
He is now able to race in this off a reduced turf rating of 97, coming into the contest after posting two solid efforts on the surface following a break.
After being beaten just a length when second to Judicial at Chester, the four-year-old ran a cracker when a 1 1/4 length fifth of 16 to Harry Hurricane in a hot handicap at Haydock.
Lightscameraction went awkwardly away in the latter, but then showed blistering early pace to make up the lost ground. After going clear a furlong out, he hung right before being unable to find any extra close home.
It was a terrific effort, given how the race panned out. Coral horse racing ambassador Jamie Spencer is now on board and that is significant.
Spencer boasts a 50 per cent strike rate when teaming up with the yard in the past 12 months. That suggests connections mean business.
Can’t Change It poised to follow-up

Can’t Change It is also a real contender for Coral ambassador Jamie Spencer today.
Spencer also holds leading claims of landing the 7f handicap earlier on the card (15:10) aboard David Simcock horse Can’t Change it.
The five-year-old scored terrific style on seasonal reappearance at Goodwood. After failing to trouble the judge in his next three starts in competitive contests, he got back to winning ways when beating Banksea by 3/4 of a length at Doncaster last month.
Can’t Change It travelled powerfully throughout in the hands of a confident Spencer before being produced to lead deep inside the final furlong. He quickened nicely to win going away.
The gelding was value for more than the winning margin, while a 3lb rise in the weights is unlikely to be enough to stop Can’t Change It going in again. This is because the form of the race looks strong.
Totally Committed ticks all the right boxes
In the 1m 2f handicap that brings proceedings to a close (17:50), Totally Committed looks decent value at the odds on offer to get back on the scoresheet, now he drops back down in grade and is reunited with jockey Adam Kirby.

Adam Kirby is back in the saddle of Totally Committed at Leicester today.
Kirby was in the saddle when the Clive Cox trained three-year-old opened his account at Bath three starts back. Here he ran on strongly to land a class 5 contest by 1/2 lengths.
Totally Committed backed that up with a solid third in a similar grade affair at the same venue . He was then far from disgraced last time out in a class 4 contest at Sandown when a four-length fifth of eight to Toulson.
Unfortunately, Totally Committed didn’t get the clearest of runs. The winner and the fourth from this race have since both ran solid races to finish fourth in decent contests.
Meanwhile, the sixth home, Calvanist, who finished 1 1/2 lengths behind the selection, has come out and won a 14-runner class 2 contest at York.
That gives the form a strong look in relation to this lower grade class 5 affair. Another big plus is that Totally Committed now has Kirby back in the plate. He was previously ridden by William Twiston-Davies and Harry Bentley in his last two starts.
